Jana Kramer gained fame as a performer, actress, and songwriter after she appeared on the television show One Tree Hill. She was Alex during three of the last four seasons. In the series' episodes the singer-songwriter performed her country debut albums. The album bearing the same title was featured among the top 20 albums of the Billboard 200's Top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was her follow-up album and climbed to Number Ten. It was the end of the decade with appearances on Dancing with the Stars, television shows, and singles that were not album tracks. In 2021, The Self-Doubting Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer was born and was raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She grew up listening to country music, later on, she decided to make a go of it as a recording artist. But, she first made an acting debut when she was young teenager in 2002's independent horror movie Dead/Undead. Over the years Kramer was a regular on a variety of series, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the part as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights the second season (2007-2008). Kramer was cast in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as well as Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 prior to joining the ensemble of the The CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in the year 2009, where she stayed until partway through the finale season in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her get a recording contract from Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary country love song I Won't Let Go. This track appeared later on the debut full-length album of Jana Kramer in the mid-2012 timeframe. It was a part of in the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Kramer remained focused on her music career while still acting and starred in films which enticed her fans, such as Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. Kramer's second album, Thirty One, was released on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in the month of October 2015. The album was helped by the Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also as a duet performed with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to third place among the Billboard 200 country charts and number 10 in the Billboard 200. The month of September 2016 saw her appearance on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted 2 months, and she finished with a 4th-place finishing. The singer also had an adult contemporary smash with the song Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
