Awkwafina

Awkwafina is an American actor and performer who made her name with clever raps that tackled the issues of sexuality and race with a the most comical of perspectives. Her career then grew into Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Apart from classical music and jazz, the young Nora began studying hip-hop in her teens. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism and women's studies in college even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. However, it wasn't until she graduated when she decided to turn her attention to music. The year 2012 saw My Vag (as a retort to Mickey Avalon's My Dick) became an internet sensation and featured on her debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also contained viral hits, such as body positive Queef and winking tour of her home NYC BitcheUSD. The single that debuted was is directly linked to the album the album Awkwafinas NYC, her travel guide for 2015. Her resume contained both an the musician and author. The singer was seeking to expand her career into acting. Apart from the early television shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. Her breakout performances included Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released in June.
