Yvonne De Carlo (September 1 1922 to January 8 2007,) was a Canadian-born American actress of film and on television. In her six decade career the films she appeared in were prominently featured in her 50s. She played her best recognized roles in films, such as Anna Marie in Salome where She Danced Anna and Criss-Cross Sephora on The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston. She also played Amantha in Band of Angels alongside Clark Gable. De Carlo was offered the leading role of Lily Munster in the CBS TV series The Munsters, alongside Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis.
